Ask for a football pub in Miami and you'll get two completely different answers depending on who you ask. One person means the Premier League on a Sunday morning. The other means the Dolphins on a Sunday afternoon. The Leinster at 1600 NE 1st Ave in Edgewater is one of the few rooms in this city where you don't have to choose between them, because both are on, the sound is up, and nobody thinks it's strange that you care about either one.
No cover, no reservation, no list. You walk in, you find a stool, you watch your game.
Two kinds of football, one Sunday
The reason a football pub in Miami can serve both crowds comes down to the clock. We open at 9 AM on Sundays, which is there for the morning European kickoffs, and there's a Full Irish on the menu for anyone who needs something solid before noon. By the time those matches wrap up, the American games are starting, and the screens turn over without anybody having to argue about it.
Saturdays we open at noon, so the later Saturday fixtures are the ones you'll catch here rather than the early ones. Weekday afternoons we're open from 3 PM, and we're closed Tuesdays. Everything we show, league by league, is laid out on the live sports page.
NFL Sundays and Dolphins game day
We're on for the full NFL season, Sunday afternoons through the Monday and Thursday night games, and every Miami Dolphins game gets a screen. Miami open the 2026 season away at Las Vegas on 13 September, and from there we're on through January. Super Bowl LXI lands on 14 February 2027 from SoFi Stadium, which is Valentine's Day, so plan accordingly.
College football runs alongside it, starting with Week 0 on 27 August and going through bowl season, and Thanksgiving football is the usual triple: Bears at Lions, Eagles at Cowboys, then Chiefs at Bills at night. Being in Edgewater puts us a few minutes from Downtown, Midtown and Wynwood, which makes this an easy call on a Sunday when you'd rather not make the drive out to Hard Rock.
The soccer bar half of the room
The other half of the schedule is what you'd expect from an Irish pub. Champions League nights start when the league phase opens on 8 September, La Liga is back for 2026/27, and the first El Clasico of the season is on Sunday 25 October at Camp Nou. That one fills up early, so don't stroll in at kickoff.
Rugby matters here too. Ireland play their November internationals against Argentina, Fiji and South Africa, and the 2027 Six Nations opens on Friday 5 February with Ireland against England, which is the fixture most of the regulars have already circled. We show GAA through the season, which is close to impossible to find anywhere else in Miami. For the local sides, the Heat are on through the NBA season, the Marlins run through the summer and into the postseason, and if you're hunting a Panthers game bar in Miami, Florida open their NHL season on 29 September away at Carolina and we're on for the rest of it. UFC pay-per-view cards run late, which suits a pub that's open until 1 AM most nights and 2 AM on Saturdays.
What's in your hand while it's on
Guinness on tap, poured properly and given the time it needs, is the whole point of the place. Imperial pints are $8 during happy hour, Monday and Wednesday to Friday from 4 to 7 PM, which lines up neatly with the afternoon fixtures and the after-work crowd arriving at the same time.
The kitchen runs through the games rather than closing at some awkward hour. Fish and Chips is $24, made with Atlantic cod in a beer batter with chips and tartar sauce. Shepherd's Pie is $19, lamb and beef under buttery mashed potato. Bangers and Mash is $19 with onion gravy. There are wings, there's the Irish Spice Bag, and the full menu has the rest of it.
Before you head over
Parking is free on the street around us, several Metromover stations are a short walk, and rideshare drops you right at the door, so none of the South Beach parking misery applies. Hours are 3 PM to 1 AM Monday, Wednesday and Thursday, 3 PM to 2 AM Friday, noon to 2 AM Saturday, and 9 AM to 11 PM Sunday.
Two other things worth knowing if you end up making this your regular spot. Wednesdays at 8 PM we run Jeopardy Night, which is live team trivia on the big screens with your phone as the buzzer, free to play, teams of up to six, and it's become the best team trivia in Miami for people who take a Wednesday too seriously.
