What We Show, Sport by Sport

The honest answer to "do you have my game on"

Where can I watch Premier League football in Miami?

At The Leinster in Edgewater. We're a proper Premier League bar and we treat it the way a pub in Dublin or London would, with dedicated screens and the sound up rather than a muted TV behind the bar. Worth knowing how our hours line up with the fixtures: we open at 9 AM on Sundays, so the Sunday morning kickoffs are covered from the whistle, and we open at noon on Saturdays, which catches the later Saturday games. Arsenal, Liverpool, Chelsea, Spurs, City, United, whoever you follow, you'll find company here. The 2026/27 season starts the weekend of 21 August.

Where can I watch NFL and the Dolphins in Miami?

We're on for the full NFL season, Sunday afternoons through Monday and Thursday nights, and every Miami Dolphins game gets a screen. Being in Edgewater puts us a few minutes from Downtown, Midtown and Wynwood, so it's an easy one if you don't fancy the drive to Hard Rock. Miami open the 2026 season away at Las Vegas on 13 September, and Super Bowl LXI is on 14 February 2027.

Do you show Champions League and Europa League?

Yes, both. We're on for the Wednesday Champions League nights once the league phase starts on 8 September, and we carry the Europa League alongside it. The Champions League final is in Madrid on 5 June 2027, the Europa League final in Frankfurt on 26 May.

Do you show La Liga and El Clasico?

We do. Spanish football starts back on 15 August, and the first El Clasico of the season is on Sunday 25 October at Camp Nou. That one fills up, so come early.

Where can I watch Six Nations rugby and Ireland internationals in Miami?

This is one of the things we're actually known for. We show the Six Nations in full, plus Ireland's autumn internationals. Ireland play Argentina, Fiji and South Africa in November 2026, and the 2027 Six Nations opens on Friday 5 February with Ireland against England. Kickoffs from Dublin land in the late morning or early afternoon here, which suits a long lunch.

Where can I watch GAA hurling and Gaelic football in Miami?

Here, and almost nowhere else in the city. We show GAA through the season, and the club championships run through the winter to the finals at Croke Park on St Patrick's Day. If you're from a county and want your club's game on, ask us in advance and we'll do our best.

Do you show the Heat, the Panthers and the Marlins?

All three. The Heat are on through the NBA season, which tips off on 20 October. The Panthers start their NHL season on 29 September away at Carolina. The Marlins are on through the summer, and we carry the MLB postseason and World Series in October.

Do you show college football and Inter Miami?

Yes to both. College football starts with Week 0 on 27 August and runs through bowl season, and we're on for Inter Miami and MLS, including the playoffs from 18 November.

Do you show UFC fights?

We do, including the numbered pay-per-view cards. Fight nights run late, which suits us, since we're open until 1 AM most nights and 2 AM on Saturdays.

Is there anything on that isn't sport?

Every Wednesday at 8 PM we run Jeopardy Night, live team trivia on the big screens with your phone as the buzzer. Free to play, teams of up to six.

Why Watch It Here

The Leinster is the go-to sports bar in Edgewater Miami, a proper pub where the match is on, the sound is up, and the pint in your hand is cold. It's the atmosphere that does it: the roar when someone scores, the groan at a missed penalty, a room full of people who actually care how it ends. What you get on match day:

  • Multiple screens with the sound on for the big games. We turn the volume up when it matters instead of leaving everything muted.
  • Real pub food right through the game. Fish and Chips, Shepherd's Pie, Bangers and Mash, wings, and a Full Irish for the Sunday morning kickoffs. See the full menu.
  • $8 imperial Guinness pints at happy hour, Wednesday to Friday from 4 to 7 PM, which lines up nicely with the afternoon fixtures.
  • No cover charge and no reservation needed. Walk in whenever you like.
  • Open Wednesday to Sunday. Sundays from 9 AM, Saturdays from noon, weekday afternoons from 3 PM, and late until 1 or 2 AM, so both the morning European games and the late American ones are covered.
  • Easy Edgewater location. 1600 NE 1st Ave, walkable from the neighborhood and a short hop from Midtown, Wynwood, the Design District, Brickell and Downtown. None of the South Beach parking misery.

Common Questions

What is the best sports bar in Edgewater, Miami?

We're biased, but here's the case: The Leinster at 1600 NE 1st Ave shows Premier League, NFL, Champions League, La Liga, rugby, GAA, NBA, NHL, MLB, college football and UFC on multiple screens with the sound up, there's no cover, walk-ins are welcome, and the kitchen runs through every game. It's also an easy trip from Midtown, Wynwood, the Design District, Downtown and Brickell.

Do I need a reservation to watch a game?

No, and there's no cover charge either. Just come in. For the biggest matches it's worth arriving a bit early if you want a good seat, especially during happy hour.

Do you put the sound on?

Yes. The volume goes up for the big matches. If there's a game you specifically want to hear, tell the bartender and they'll sort it.

What time do you open for the morning football?

Sundays from 9 AM, which covers the morning European kickoffs. Saturdays we open at noon, so the later Saturday fixtures are the ones you'll catch. Wednesday to Friday we're open from 3 PM, and we're closed Mondays and Tuesdays.

Do you serve food during the game?

The kitchen runs the whole time. Full Irish Breakfast for the Sunday morning games, Fish and Chips at halftime, wings and Shepherd's Pie for the evening ones. Here's the full menu.

How much is a pint during the match?

Imperial Guinness pints are $8 during happy hour, Wednesday to Friday from 4 to 7 PM.

Can I ask you to put a specific game on?

Please do. Ring us on (786) 937-8122 ahead of time, especially for anything niche like a GAA club match or a lower-division fixture, and we'll tell you straight whether we can get it.

Can I book the pub for a game?

Yes, we do private events and group bookings, which works well for a big match with a crowd. Get in touch and we'll talk it through.

What big sporting events are coming up?

Premier League opening weekend on 21 to 23 August 2026, the Champions League league phase from 8 September, NFL Kickoff on 9 September, the Dolphins opener on 13 September, NHL opening night with the Panthers on 29 September, NBA opening night on 20 October, El Clasico on 25 October, Ireland's November rugby internationals, the FA Cup third round on 9 January 2027, the Six Nations from 5 February, Super Bowl LXI on 14 February, and St Patrick's Day on 17 March 2027.
